Come down to Laguna Beach on April 3rd for a fun filled night of MTB celebrity.  Rob's Retro Race is a film showcasing some of the greatest "vintage" rides being put to the test by none other than Rob Warner.  And who can beat the iconic Rivian South Coast Theater for a event venue!

What we’ve been doing

The Trails

  • The MTB Hub at RTSM in San Clemente broke ground on March 3rd. Watch for this first in OC pump track (and MTB community victory) to open this Spring!

  • The City of Irvine Gateway Project continues to progress with wilderness agencies currently reviewing the plan.

  • The Craig Park Bike Park has received Army Corp of Engineers clearance, they now issue a design-build Request for Proposal to update the SHARE (OCMTBA predecessor) donated plan and progress toward constructon of the facility.

The Dirt

  • The rain has started!  We've supported trail work with Laguna Canyon Foundation for the last three weekends (Stagecoach, Old Emerald Falls, Sheeps Run/Mentally) and hope to see much more with forecast ahead.

  • The Yamaha sponsored OC Trail Strike Team (Class 1 Yamaha bikes with tool trailers) is being deployed for trail work events as we print

  • We've submitted our Right of Entry permit application for the San Onofre State Beach Parcel One and are working wtih IMBA Trail Solutions to coordinate a comprehensive cross agency volunteer training

  • We maintain our presence in the OC Parks Trails Subcommittee, the next meeting is April 10 should you wish to attend

April 29 - Over the Hump's next season begins.  Come out to Irvine Lake and get some laps in!

September 20 - the Good Dirt Ride 2025!
